Most road signs we do not notice because we are not looking, or we let our expectations determine what the sign says. After you see the following signs, you’ll pay more careful attention as you buzz down the road. Here are 15 examples of sign-makers making the most of moments when their boss was not looking.

Notice anything unusual? If a stop sign is in lowercase letters, does that make stopping optional?
